Larry D and Margaret D Brown Scholarship by the Parkersburg Area Community Foundation is open to grauating seniors who reside in Lewis, Gilmer, Braxton, Upshur, Harrison, Randolph, and Ritchie Counties in WV. Applicants must have a GPA of a 2.5-3.2 on a 4.0 scale, must have financial need, and must be planning to attend a full-time course of study at an accredited institution of higher education or vocational studies. Albert Yanni Scholarship- $2,000.00 is available to any senior who is a going to be a completer at the tech center and has an 85% attendance rate, 3.0 GPA, no semester grade lower than a C, pursue a field in their area they completed, and must be accepted by a post secondary institution or technical center. Application must be post marked by March 31, 2017.
$500 scholarship will be awarded to a graduating WV senior planning to attend college and major in some form of environmental studies (horticulture, landscape design, forestry, botany, conservation, land management, geology, or related subjects) application deadline is February 1, 2017.
